Tonight, my co-workers and I are going out on the town to have a few drinks. It's been awhile since we've all gone out and hung out without the pressures of the job. It's kind of nice to "let your hair down" and relax sometimes. We have not invited the Boss Man (aka Cash Money) though. That is the one rule of the employee night out. How are we supposed to bond otherwise? 2 minutes before we were to leave the office for our big night, everyone confesses that they really didn't want to get together after all. Still is summer and to be truthful, I even have a long list of "must-dos" at home too. No biggie, we'll find another day to get together. It's not like we don't see each other on a daily basis anyway...
I can't wait for tomorrow morning for my dentist appointment. I am a weird person because I love the dentist. This visit should be a simple one and I think they may even fit me for a night time mouth guard. Not too exciting, but anything to keep me from grinding my chompers at night and keeping my DH awake!
I went to a local antique store yesterday and picked up the cutest book and a 50's style apron that I will post for you sometime soon. The man at the counter was so cute when I checked out. He was in his sixties and said that the apron had belonged to his mother. I told him that it was going to good hands and that I would sport it as famously as she had.
I went to a Sushi 101 class at my local Whole Foods Store last night and had a blast! We learned the names and differences among the sushi rolls and how to roll them all. I had tried it in the past and just knew there was a trick to it all. There was and now I'm sitting with the expertise. I just love their classes there. They let you get hands-on. That is the best way to learn for me anyway. Logan and Jeff want me to test the new skills out this weekend. It is something that we all love in our family.
Enough for now...
