We were able to fit a trip to the Twin Cities this summer as well. We were having a bunch of problems (and unexpected expenses) with both our vehicles in the beginning of summer, but were able to get our CRV ready for a trip in mid August. We had a blast with Jeff's family and even went to late night black light "disco" bowling with the kids. Some stayed behind to do some needed laser tag and some went home for some ZZZ's (the boys stayed up late playing cards like normal). All in all, it was a great (very short) stay. We went up on Sat. and returned on Sunday. Lots of driving but luckily not too much road construction or traffic to slow us down! I can't believe how big Luke, Josie, and Abby are getting. Bob and Jenny must feed them Miracle-Gro. The girls had fun with doing my hair. I wouldn't be surprised if either one decides to go to cosmetology school.
I'll be their first customer!
