Phrase for the Week

I was thinking the other day that I need to do something fun with my life. Some people have a little collector's calendar or 'word of the day' memo pad on their desk at work. I was thinking that I should be a little more creative than that. Something from my own mind, instead of someone else telling me what to ponder. I heard a funny phrase while listening to the local news briefs the other day and it had my in full stitches. I have found myself using this phrase in normal conversation and it brings a smile to my face every time. I guess I'll share my funny phrase with you; 'pistol whip'. Feel free to use it too. I wonder what next week will bring?
